A few days ago I published a post on Coffee Talkies; a device that I wish existed but, in reality, does not. Today I’m going to talk about something my son gave me a Christmas that is real, but I have no idea why. It is called iDigiTip. When I saw the packaging I assumed it was some kind of tip calculator. Boy was I wrong! The box says this is “the digital world’s most essential accessory”. It is something that looks a lot like a finger pick for strumming string instruments. But it has a little nylon half ball on the bottom of each tip that can work as a stylus on a touchscreen or can help you push buttons if you have something like a Blackberry. Even more amazing is that it comes with its own lanyard, which I think was probably more expensive than the tips themselves. The idea is that you put these on your fingers and it will be easier to operate your digital device. The reality is it actually makes it harder and they are too small to fit most fingers. All I can say is that I just hope my son did not pay too much for these – of course any amount is probably too much.
